Why does it takes a crooks and scams and dishonest to be success on construction business?

-

I remember long ago, I was meeting with business brokers and talking about which business for sale and which to choose.

I ask what about being a home builder you know built a house to sell or built for customers.

I asked him if this is a good business, the business broker say uhh mmm, let me think, then he say oh yeah they are good business and good profitable but most of success home builders businessmen are not a nice and not honest and corruption people.

So why is that?

You have to be bold, confident and just a little pushy to be successful in business. Some people mysteriously take this as dishonesty simply because they don’t have either the deidication or personality to be bold, confident and just a little pushy themselves.
For example, there are some young female singers who accuse soul legend Aretha Franklin of being arrogant simply because various US Presidents have invited her to sing at their formal functions. Is it Aretha’s fault that these men believe she is talented and want her to sing? Should she turn down these invitations simply to please others?

Is it really profitable to join a direct marketing/multi level marketing organization?

-

Some of my friends are trying to get me to sign up for various direct selling/private franchising business opportunities.
Is it really good? I mean, when I need to buy soap, shampoo, etc, I head for the supermarket, as do most of the folks I know. Who really buys from the auntie next door who holds a franchisee?
What do you say?

I seriously doubt it because almost every MLM exploits countless people. The only MLM folks making serious money are either very early investors and those who find enough friends to exploit.

If you are part of an MLM and don’t believe you exploit members that you recruit, let me ask you this: Why won’t you let the friends that you recruit buy from your upstream provider just like you? Other than getting them started, you offer little of value but take a large chunk out of their sales. In fact, your upstream provider takes a large commission from your downstream sales team, who probably never even know who is your upstream provider. Your upstream provider charges your downstream for no legitimate reason.

If you don’t see this as exploitation, by all means jump right in.

My organization has lost the Non Profit (501c3) number – now what?

-

I am the President of a Religious and Social organization this year. Every year new executive committee is selected to run this organization. The new team organizes a few programs during the year. One of my friends was a president in 1987 and swears by the fact that a 501c3 form was filed and IRS asigned a Non Profit number. The trouble is that the IRS letter approving 501c3 status has been lost. There is no proof of 501c3 in existence at this time. How do I find out if the organization is a Non Profit one and if it is, how do I find the 501c3 number assigned in 1987?
